Jet Fuel price cut 2.5%, making Airlines stocks attractive.
In a measure to relive Airlines govt owned oil distributors Indian Oil, BPCL, and Hindustan Petroleum Has announced a cut of 2.5% in jet fuel.
Jet fuel costs about 40% of airline expense and a cut a 2.5% in jet fuel would mean a lot to the airliners.
In Mumbai rates have been cut from Rs 1015 to 39,167 per kl. In Delhi the rates have been cut by Rs. 974 per kilolitre
The three oil firms revise their rates on 1st and 16th of every month.
