Air India to get Rs 800 Crore of equity Support
The government of India on Thursday approved an Rs 800 crore of equity support to Air India. According to the cabinet meeting the equity investment is going to happen in two equal months
The carried had earlier set a target of crores 2000 but has managed to save only Rs 800 Crores.
In September last year Jadhav had proposed a PLI-Cut for its existing level employees but had a revoke from the staff, which itself had caused a loss to the company.
The carrier is said to have rationalize routes till march 2010 by restructuring operations over the Frankfurt hub adjusting capacities and eliminating the overlap operations of Nacil and Air India.
